Third Time Lucky Cafe Review
Working near the airport has its advantages.
Proximity to IKEA being one.
Cheap and cheerful ethnic food options for a second.
So it’s a bit of news when something new opens in the hood.
Waving at me as I pass through traffic is a happy, waving lucky cat.

It’s Third Time Lucky!
Let it beckon you too and with it’s industrial-Scandi good looks you will be tempted by coffee, sweet treats, and bagel sandwiches that cannot be resisted.

Quang Nguyen and Heath Dalziel own and run the cafe, and are regular fixtures in store. You might remember them from such sweet, sweet cafe’s as Devour Patisserie.

First things first – coffee.
Strong, rich, hot – but not too hot.

Next, bagels. These are fresh, flavoured, and served as toasted sandwiches chock full of tasty fillings. Sweet tooth? Try the blueberry bagel with cream cheese, blueberries and almonds ($12).

My pick of the savoury, cream cheese, avocado and fried capers. Salty, smooth and delicious. $12. Mr Wino loved the take on the Reuben, with pastrami. $12.
Last but not least, sweets. Doughnuts every colour of the rainbow and nearly as many flavours tempt you from under the glass cabinet.

Work just became all kinds of more bearable – lucky that.
