Veuve Clicquot Yellow Label Champagne NV Wine Tasting Review

Veuve Clicquot Yellow Label Champagne NV

How do traditions start?

Some start by happenstance.

Like our now-tradition of the Mother In Law bringing a bottle of French Fizz each time we’re paid a visit.

Regular doses of French fizz does the mind, body and soul good, by my reckoning.

Well Looky Here

Deep golden yellow.

Sniff Sniff

Marmalade on toast and toasted almonds.

Sip Sip

Rich, lasting toasty nougat. Nice acid line that carries the flavour on and on.

Nom Nom

We enjoyed this bottle by itself – but bubbles are the best wine to pair with cheese, as the acid and effervescence stop cheese from coating your palate and affecting the flavour of the wine. !

Gimmie Gimmie

$58.99 from Dan Murphys.

12% alcohol.

Rating

Value – good.

Silver – a fine wine.
