Joseph Drouhin Burgundy Givry Pinot Noir 2008

Dinner up at the dining table with visiting family is fun and relaxed.

No pretences, no pussyfooting.

Comfort and honesty.

It’s a happy time, and something special is drawn from the “wine room” by Mr Wino.

Well Looky Here

Translucent ruby, with a hint of brick red at the clear, wide rim.

Wide, lazy legs.

Sniff Sniff

French mustiness, tending to coffee grounds that have cooled. Warm chocolate and caramel with a faint note of cherry.

Sip Sip

Light bodied, acidic tending to sharpness. Not much fruit left, this drop is showing it’s age and is on it’s last legs.

Don’t hang onto any bottles you have left.
