Virgin Australia now offer complimentary food and beverages on every domestic flight.
All Economy guests receive complimentary tea, coffee and water on all Virgin Australia flights. In addition, a selection of complimentary beer, wine and soft drinks is offered on all Australian domestic flights with a scheduled departure time between 5pm and 7pm, Monday to Friday.
Domestic services also have a retail food and beverage menu from which you can purchase.

This flight departs the GC at 12.15pm and arrives in Adelaide at 2.30pm
Meal
This was a lunchtime flight time, but I would consider this a snack.
Today it was a cardboard box with a recyclable plastic tray inside holding a white bread sandwich with the crusts cut off.
The packaging described it as Capsicum and Cheese, and there was also some baby spinach on the sandwich.
It was quite tasty, the bread hadn’t dried out, and it was a good little snack.

Overall I was quite pleased with the quality and taste of this complimentary snack.
