Visiting family is always a good excuse for a party. 

Even better when the party guests are wine lovers and bring along some bottles that I normally wouldn’t have.


Case in point pinot gris. Pinot gris is the current “trendy” white wine variety.

Golden yellow.

 

Sniff Sniff

Interesting!

Marmalade, lemon blossom, guava – tropical fruits.

 

Sip Sip

Sweeeeeety!

Marmalade that is heavy on the sugar and light on the orange. Not much acid left, just that juicy orange taste which stops nice and short.

 

 Gimme Gimme

She wears some baubles, a Gold medal from the 2008 New Zealand Royal Show.
