All there is to do is soak up the atmosphere and get into the mood. Pull up a Bank SA picnic blanket and charge your glass, cheers to winter sunshine in beautiful McLaren Vale.

The perfect first sip of the day.

Lemons and flinty minerals.

Sip Sip

Lemon, sherbert, flinty minerals. Juicy and long lasting.  Crisp like biting into a crunchy Granny Smith.

 

Time for a look around. 

Pretty pots of pansies adorn the perimeter of the marquee.

Inside the white tent was a hive of activity.

Down on the dance floor, the BankSA girls  were jitterbuggin’ up a storm while DJ Sherpa worked the decks.

 

 

Beautiful flowers graced the tables and in wooden boxes.

McLaren Vale favourite restaurant The Barn Bistro had a number of skewers and the most amazing chips, crunchy and served with aioli.

Adelaide Paella had a huge pan sizzling and on show to the partygoers.

Classic tortilla of potato, and a dessert of brioche with banana and strawberry rounded out Adelaide Paella’s offering.

Local food truck Shredded was my pick.

Fresh local produce made with love and with a few secret, directly imported American ingredients. 

Go for jalepeno and chilli sauce on your veggie burrito – you won’t regret it!

Dry, clean finishing. Great to clean up a creamy meal.

Sherbertty, flinty.

Sip Sip

Tingly sherbert on the tongue. Nice and dry, a great food wine.

It has a marzipan thing and is designed to be served after an aperitif as a second Aperitivo

After a good old dance, the Garden Party was over for another year.
