The off the beaten track. the hard to find.
That is what I share with you here in my McLaren Vale Like A Local Travel Guide.
Adelaide is blessed with no less than nine wine regions within just a few hours drive. (Barossa Valley, Clare Valley, Eden Valley, Adelaide Hills, McLaren Vale, Southern Fleurieu, Currency Creek, Langhorne Creek, Kangaroo Island), and 18 wine regions in the state.
The jewel in the crown is undoubtedly McLaren Vale.
Known as “the Mediterranean of the South” – and by me as Paradise – it is indeed a gem.

Dear Louise!
What a nice travel guide! What a pity I haven’t had it when I have been travelling to South Australia about 2 months ago! Although I’ve visited many places from your guide it would be much easier for me if I had it with me 😉 I had amazing time in McLaren, I’ve been few times in Willunga and I simply loved the place. Hopefully I will come back soon 🙂
Best regards! Ella, Wine Lady
Hi Ella!
Thanks for popping by. Oh I’m so glad you had a great time in McLaren Vale and Willunga. When you come back, be sure to let me know and we can catch up for a drink!
Cheers, Louise
